| Exciting mission opportunities - INDIA - NoblePurpose Ministries continues to partner with local ministries to encourage, equip, and see what the LORD is doing among one of the world's largest nations - India. This nation boasts a population of 1.1 billion people! It is a land of great contrasts. Technology thrives alongside primitive living conditions. Beautiful architecture and world wonders provide backdrop to poverty and oppression. Known as the "land of many gods" they worship more than 33 million gods, while the people thirst for the One GOD. We witnessed wonderful things during NPM's first Encourage - Equip - See tour of India. Nearly 40 ministers, evangelists, and pastors attended two regional workshops. They continue to report the success in sharing the Gospel with many who need to know Christ. We were invited as the keynote speaker at the Church of North India's annual conference. We share the Lord's invitation to be His beloved children to 10,000 people who attended the conference. We witnessed the Lord's power in His people and nature. The results of that trip include; - Renovating a remote village church
- Provided Bibles and materials to help teach and share.
- Scholarships for two young leaders who will receive college degrees and work to combat child trafficking in the poorest areas of India and share the living Gospel.
- Funded Christmas evangelism programs in 5 villages. More than 150 people where brought to Christ during these programs. Nearly 200 others are being taught.
- Support for literacy programs. My friend reports that 87 women and young girls have been taught to read & write.
This year, as the Lord wills, we hope to return to India to work with cell leaders of the many small home churches that are growing throughout the region. Some of the efforts will include; - Provide instruction and materials to encourage to cell group leaders.
- Continue to teach women's programs.
- Take portable baptismal tanks for use by the evangelists.
- Purchase three small scooters for evangelists to travel to remote villages. Currently they walk up to 6 hours each way to these villages. it is fatiguing and dangerous.
- See what the Lord continues to do in this remarkable land of contrasts.

HONDURAS - NoblePurpose Ministries is also exploring opportunities for brief, periodic mission trips to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The purpose of these visits will be to provide seasoned Christian leaders with a place to mentor young, emerging leaders through service. These brief trips will last for 5 to 7 days and will combine leadership studies in the evenings with needed service projects during the day. The vision is to conduct these trips quarterly. Each senior leader will mentor 3 to 5 young leaders. Orientations and training will be provided to each group prior to the trip. We pray that this model might be replicated to build generations of leaders for Christ's church. |
